Veterans’ Victory House is committed to providing Veterans with a continuation of their active and enriching lives after active military service. A nurse works with the resident, family, and multidisciplinary/care plan team to develop and individual plan of care. A plan of care covers medical care and services, daily living activities, and educating the residents to maintain or increase independence to improve their well-being. Care is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to all residents
A full nursing staff serves residents 24 hours a day, supervised by Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses. The staff offers a broad range of experience, with particular emphasis in gerontological and rehabilitative services.
Occupational, physical, speech and restorative therapies are provided by licensed therapists. The home also operates an on-site physical therapy service, staffed by full-time licensed physical therapy personnel.
Resident centered care promotes excellent results through careful planning and monitoring. The therapy department assists residents in reaching their full potential at the Veterans’ Victory House.
